Welcome to the Midwest Tactical Med Association

We are striving to establish a tactical, austere, and special operations medical society to support, integrate and maintain multilateral communities with one mission. To advance medicine in the harshest of environments.

We believe the lessons of the Global War on Terrorism in trauma and emergency management along with current the expanding scope of pre-hospital medicine should not be neglected. Integrating communities that work within similar austere environments will better expand our functional knowledge and skill set. Thus we strive to bring together local Midwest Law Enforcement, Military, Fire/EMS, and more together to enhance our local communities ability to train and save patients.

To achieve these goals we will establish a yearly conference for updates, collaboration and education. In addition our Tac Med Competition will be hosted yearly to promote friendly competition and skills validation. Lastly we seek to have biannual CME courses free to members.
